It Is In-corn-ceivable That We Have Arrived

We landed safe and sound in La Cuidad and we are in looooooove! On the flight over we made a friend, who thought Kate was from a spanish speaking country... Que gloria. Nora thinks she has
found her new muse. Everyone here is so friendly, the city is so colorful, and the sun is shining (but dry heat). Tere´s house is beautiful and full of wonderful nooks and crannies to explore. Today for lunch we had amazing homemade soup, squash stuffed with cheese and corn, and flan. In the afternoon we played soccer with all of the beautiful children who spent the afternoon running around the house giggling and trying to teach Nora spanish. She is rather forgetful, but trying very hard and exchanging many english words for español (although with a hopeless french accent)

Tomorrow we are off on a tour of the city and then Tuesday to Friday we are beinging our research in a small town we cannont pronounce the name of (it starts with an X).

We are all packed and ready to jet out to La Ciudad de Mexico mañana. AIS (Ass In Seat, a Berson family saying) at 6am, bright and early for the 9:15 departure. Nora will need an IV of coffee, for sure. Wish us luck, and we will post from below the border soon!
